Opportunity to be involved
We are looking for an experienced Director of Underwriting Cyclone to lead the management of ARPC’s cyclone reinsurance portfolio and delivery of ARPC’s underwriting administration responsibilities under the Terrorism & Cyclone Insurance Act and represent ARPC with senior insurance representatives. Reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer, you will establish and manage contracts of reinsurance arrangements with insurers, overseeing ARPC’s gross written premium and underwriting result, and reporting on key outcomes and trends to support the effective management ARPC’s insurance risk.
You will represent ARPC with senior insurance representatives, lead key cyclone client relationships and a small professional team, and act as a senior subject matter expert across underwriting, reinsurance and the Cyclone Reinsurance Pool.
