As a Loss Adjuster you will be responsible for managing and progressing claims towards settlement, with the support of our high performing and dedicated Claims Team.

What are my accountabilities? 

• Assess claims through on-site visits using company process’s, systems and technologies

• Manage a portfolio of claims from initial advice to settlement, following Pacific Claims policies and procedures.

• Investigate the cause and extent of loss, ensuring efficiency and a customer-focused approach.

• Determine if the loss falls within the insurance policy's terms and conditions.

• Deliver loss-adjusting services that meet or exceed client service standards.

• Provide proactive communication with clients and customers on initial findings and potential solutions.

• Calculate repair and/or replacement costs (reserve).

• Appoint and collaborate with, other professionals, service providers and suppliers

• Meet Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators

• Ensure Contractual, Statutory and General Insurance Code of Practice (GICOP) requirements are met

• Maintain timely communications with all stakeholders, giving clear and accurate advice or updates

 About you:

• Prior adjusting or property claims experience in Commercial, Liability, Construction and Engineering, Strata and/or major and complex loss

• Hold a professional qualification recognized by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF)

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for claims management and record keeping

• Passionate about customer service, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.

• Self-motivated with strong time management and organisational skills.

• Current and valid driver’s licence
