Casual Café/Kitchen Team Member — Part Time

About Us:
CJ's is a busy café and take-away in Kalaru, serving the local community with great food and friendly service. We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic team member to join our crew.

About the Role:
We're seeking a part-time team member to help with day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing the shop, cooking, and general front-of-house duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in good food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and/or closing the shop
• Cooking and food preparation
• Front of house / customer service
• General café duties — cleaning, restocking, maintaining a tidy work area

Hours:
A mix of evenings and weekends. Exact shifts to be discussed with the successful applicant.

Start Date:
Monday 8th September

What We're Looking For:

• A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to muck in
• Punctual and dependable
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced kitchen
• Previous café/hospitality experience preferred but not essential

Pay:
In line with the Fast Food Industry Award (casual rates)
