About the role

An Assistant Loan Writer role providing support across the loan application and submission process. The role involves a range of administrative and lending support tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Reviewing and organising client documentation

• Conducting credit checks and reviewing financial information

• Data entry and maintaining accurate client records

• Managing and monitoring inboxes

• Assisting with loan applications and submissions

• Using Excel and other office systems

• Following up outstanding information and keeping applications on track

• General administrative support to the lending team

About you

• Previous experience in loan writing, mortgage broking or banking is preferred, but not essential

• Quick learner with strong attention to detail

• Highly organised, detail-oriented, reliable and proactive

• Able to manage repetitive administrative tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy

• Comfortable spending most of your day working at a computer

• Able to handle multiple tasks at once
