We are currently seeking Kitchen Assistants to join our team.

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery and/ or equivalent or higher qualifications would be highly regarded.

• Experience working in a commercial cooking environment such as an Aged Care Facility or Hospital will be highly regarded.

• Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people

• Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English

• Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required

• Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations

• Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities

• Current Covid and Flu Vaccination Records would be advantageous

• Successful Applicants will be required to obtain a Current NDIS Clearance Certificate

• Must be willing and available to work some weekend shifts
