Join a well-established Melbourne CBD personal injury boutique with a strong reputation in historical and institutional abuse claims — roles available at the 2+ and 4+ year level.

• Meaningful, complex work: A practice built around personal injury and historical sexual abuse claims, acting exclusively for plaintiffs with sensitivity and care.
• Two roles available: A junior solicitor position for strong PI lawyers looking to develop into abuse claims, and a senior role for experienced institutional abuse practitioners.

• For the junior role, historical sexual abuse experience is not required – a strong personal injury background is the priority, with the firm committed to developing the right person into this specialist area.

About the role:

• Historical and institutional abuse claims - managing matters from initial instructions through to completion, including drafting, evidence gathering, client communication and court advocacy.
• Personal injury litigation across the County and Supreme Courts, including appearing as advocate and instructing counsel.
• Drafting court documents, correspondence and advice, with strong file and time management throughout.
• Contributing to the development of junior team members where appropriate.

The ideal candidate:

• For the 2+ year role: a strong PI background is the priority. Historical or institutional abuse experience is welcome but not required. You'll be energetic, organised and ready to develop into a specialist area under experienced supervision.
• For the 4+ year role: demonstrated experience in personal injury litigation, with institutional abuse or historical abuse claims experience highly regarded. You'll be comfortable managing your own files and contributing to a collaborative team.
