Electrician

We are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician for a short-term opportunity at Sunrise Dam Gold Mine.

This role offers an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, working 12-hour shifts for approximately 6 swings, with an ideal start date of 10 September 2026.
The Role Working within a gold mining environment, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance and repairs across fixed plant and associated equipment.

Key duties may include:

• Electrical maintenance and repairs across fixed plant equipment
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Inspection and testing of electrical equipment
• Identifying and rectifying faults to minimise downtime
• Working closely with maintenance and operational teams
• Completing required maintenance documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you will require:

• Relevant electrical trade qualification
• Current electrical licence
• Previous fixed plant electrical experience – essential
• Previous mining or heavy industrial experience highly regarded
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Current National Police Clearance
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on an 8/6 roster
• Ability to complete all required site and pre-employment requirements
