Registered Nurse

Bene Aged Care is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Night Registered Nurse to join our team at the St Agnes Residential Facility on a permanent part-time basis.

Roster

This position is based on the following fortnightly night shift roster (11:00pm to 7:15am):

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

About Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality clinical care during night duty, ensuring residents receive the support, comfort and clinical oversight they need throughout the night.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver person-centred, evidence-based nursing care
• Monitor residents' health and respond promptly to clinical needs during night shifts
• Administer medications, manage wound care and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Provide leadership and clinical oversight to care staff on duty
• Support and mentor Care Workers to ensure best practice standards are maintained
• Foster a safe, calm and respectful environment for residents overnight
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals as required
• Collaborate with the broader clinical team to support holistic care planning and continuity of care

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting
• Strong clinical judgement, communication and leadership skills
• Commitment to respectful, person-centred care
• Ability to work independently and confidently on night duty
• Current National Police Check, First Aid and Manual Handling certificates

Desirable

• Italian language skills (advantageous but not essential)
