Human Resources Officer

Our Support Office team works closely with stores to provide practical, responsive support and help our business and people succeed.

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised HR Officer to join our Support Office team in Mansfield.

This hands-on role provides broad exposure across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employment documentation, HR systems, compliance and people initiatives. You’ll join a supportive HR team where you’ll be encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas and continue developing your HR career.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating recruitment, including advertising, candidate screening, interviews and candidate communication

• Preparing employment contracts, variations, letters and other HR documentation

• Coordinating onboarding, employee changes and offboarding

• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems

• Monitoring licences, certifications, training and compliance requirements

• Responding to employee and manager enquiries

• Supporting performance reviews and employee engagement activities

• Assisting with HR reporting, projects and process improvements

• Providing general coordination and administrative support to the HR team

About You

You’re an organised and approachable HR professional who takes pride in delivering accurate work and providing a positive employee experience.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in an HR administration or coordination role

• A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

• Sound judgement and the ability to maintain confidentiality

• Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems

• A proactive, solutions-focused and team-oriented approach

• A genuine interest in continuing to build your HR career

Experience in retail, pharmacy or another multi-site environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
