Are You a Natural Problem-Solver?

Cruisin’ Motorhomes is looking for a calm, capable and highly organised On-Road Care Coordinator to support our customers travelling throughout Australia.

This isn't a standard call-centre role.

When something goes wrong on the road, you'll need to work out what's happening, decide what needs to happen next, coordinate the right assistance and keep the customer informed until the problem is resolved.

You might be troubleshooting a motorhome that won't start, organising a mechanic in a remote town, chasing an overdue tow truck or managing several customer issues at the same time.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks clearly under pressure and follows things through.

What You'll Do

• Answer calls from customers experiencing vehicle or motorhome problems.

• Assess the situation and identify any immediate safety concerns.

• Coordinate mechanics, tow operators, auto electricians and other service providers.

• Manage multiple open cases and prioritise what needs attention first.

• Proactively update customers rather than waiting for them to call back.

• Follow up suppliers and outstanding actions until there is a clear outcome.

• Maintain accurate case notes and provide clear handovers to other team members.

• Escalate significant mechanical, customer or financial issues when required.

You'll be well suited to this role if you:

• Take responsibility and don't like leaving problems unresolved.

• Stay calm when several things are happening at once.

• Are organised and follow up on things without needing to be reminded.

• Ask good questions rather than making assumptions.

• Can work out what's urgent and what can wait.

• Communicate confidently with customers, mechanics and tradespeople.

• Can remain professional with stressed or frustrated customers.

• Have good computer skills and keep clear, accurate records.

• Enjoy learning how vehicles, equipment and systems work.

• Are reliable and enjoy being part of a small team.

Do You Need to Be a Mechanic?

No.

You don't need to be a qualified mechanic, but you do need mechanical aptitude, curiosity and a willingness to learn.

We'll train you in our motorhomes, their systems and common faults.

Experience in automotive, fleet, logistics, dispatch, roadside assistance, vehicle rental, insurance claims, trades coordination, service advising or other problem-solving roles would be highly regarded.

Strong candidates from other industries are also encouraged to apply.

The Roster

Our customers travel seven days a week, so flexibility and reliability are important.

As part of this casual role, you will be required to:

• Work rostered weekday shifts as required.

• Work every second weekend.

• Work some public holidays as required.

• Participate in our after-hours on-call roster.
