iCan Support Solutions is a growing NDIS provider delivering high-quality Supported Independent Living (SIL) and in-home support services. We're looking for an experienced, reliable Support Worker to join the team supporting one of our participants with complex, high intensity needs.
About the role
We are seeking a female Support Worker to provide high intensity personal care and support to a lovely gentleman who is bed bound, in his beautiful home. You'll be joining a great, stable team who know him well and work closely together to keep his routines and care consistent. You'll be confident working independently overnight, delivering hands-on personal care, and following detailed support plans, including medication and mealtime management.
Sleepover shifts run 5:00pm - 7:00am across multiple nights per week, with some day shifts (7:00am – 5:00pm) also available. Immediate availability from Wednesday 9th September 2026 is essential.
Key responsibilities
Provide high intensity personal care to a bed bound participant, including manual handling, repositioning and pressure area care
Perform catheter care and manage continence aids in line with the participant's support plan
Administer medication as prescribed, in accordance with the participant's medication management plan
Implement the participant's mealtime management plan accurately and consistently
Complete overnight sleepover shifts (5:00pm – 7:00am), remaining responsive to the participant's needs throughout the night
Provide day shift support (7:00am – 5:00pm) as rostered
Maintain accurate, timely shift notes, progress notes and incident reporting
Follow all infection control, WHS and manual handling procedures
About you
Demonstrated experience in high intensity supports, including bed bound care, catheter care, continence aid management and medication administration
Experience implementing mealtime management plans
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Disability or equivalent industry experience
Available for sleepover shifts across multiple nights per week, plus occasional day shifts
Able to start from Wednesday 9th September 2026
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid & CPR certificate
Current Australian working rights
