What you'll be doing

Provide day-to-day leadership of the Porters team across the Randwick campus, ensuring that services meet the needs to the organisation and comply with NSW Health and SESLHD policies, procedures and standards.

Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated recent experience working in a support services role within a healthcare environment, and knowledge of the patient journey throughout health.
2. Demonstrated initiative and the ability to use established procedures and techniques to determine the most appropriate course of action.
3. Proven ability to determine priorities for others, allocate tasks, coach and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
4. Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and a customer service approach.
5. Ability to perform a wide range of operational tasks, monitoring and determining work priorities to enable adjustments to workflow as required.
6. Willingness to work a rotating roster to support the 24 hours /7-day operational service requirements of the department.
