THE ROLE

With our branch making great strides in the industry, we are currently recruiting for a further 1 x reliable and experienced Storeperson to join our team in Emerald QLD. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive and down-to-earth team where things move quickly, there’s plenty of variety and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact across the business. If you are from a Hydraulics or similar industrial background this would be the perfect role for you!

This is a permanent, full-time role with flexible working hours between 8am-5pm (Monday – Friday).

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
• Assisting with counter sales
• Ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions.
• Picking stock for orders and packing goods for distribution
• Storing away products in correct locations
• Relocating inventory to fully utilise storage space
• Undertake warehouse receivable process
• Produce packaging as required
• Observe safety procedures when storing and retrieving inventory

ABOUT YOU

• A reliable and hardworking Stores all-rounder
• Experience within a warehouse / store environment
• Have a current Forklift ticket
• Basic knowledge of the hose and fittings industry
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Be able to complete tasks involving manual lifting and product identification.
• Have good all-round admin skills
• Be an Australian Citizen/Permanent resident with full work rights
