The opportunity

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team in Brisbane.

This is a hands-on, varied role ideally suited to an early-career marketing or communications professional who has built a strong foundation in their first few years and is ready to broaden their experience.

The role is intended as a full-time opportunity, however, we are open to considering part-time arrangements for the right candidate, particularly where someone brings relevant experience and capability.

You will work across digital marketing, content, social media, events, sponsorships and internal communications, supporting marketing initiatives across RPS and helping us showcase our people, projects and expertise.

You may come from a particular marketing discipline such as content, PR, digital or design. What is important is that you are curious, adaptable and comfortable rolling up your sleeves across a broad range of marketing activities.

For someone currently working agency-side, this could also be an opportunity to move into an in-house role where you can build a deeper understanding of the business and contribute to marketing activity from concept through to delivery.

What you will be involved in

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and the broader team, you will:

• Support the development of engaging content promoting RPS services, people, projects and expertise
• Develop and manage content across the RPS website, social media channels and intranet
• Support digital and social media campaigns from execution through to performance reporting
• Coordinate events and help activate industry partnerships and sponsorships
• Work with colleagues and internal stakeholders to develop effective marketing materials and campaigns
• Use analytics and reporting to help improve our digital and social channels
• Support internal communications and broader marketing initiatives
• Help maintain RPS brand integrity and consistency across marketing activities
• Contribute ideas for new content, campaigns and marketing initiatives
• Work across a variety of projects and priorities as part of a collaborative Marketing and Communications team.

About you

You will ideally have:

• A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, corporate affairs or a related discipline
• Around two to three years' experience in marketing, communications or a related role
• Strong written communication skills and an interest in developing engaging content
• Experience across some combination of content marketing, social media, digital marketing, internal communications or events
• Confidence working with digital platforms including content management systems, social media platforms and analytics tools
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn
• Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Experience within a corporate or B2B environment would be beneficial. Professional services, property or environmental sector experience would also be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or other design software would be highly regarded.
