Ganesha Traders Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cook to join our busy pizza shop located in Healesville. The role requires a skilled individual capable of preparing high‑quality pizzas and other menu items while maintaining consistent food standards and kitchen hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook pizzas, pastas, salads, and other menu items
• Prepare fresh ingredients including dough, sauces, and toppings
• Operate commercial pizza ovens and kitchen equipment
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and daily preparation
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
• Work efficiently during peak service periods

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
• Experience in pizza or Italian cuisine highly regarded
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to undertake manual kitchen tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications (mandatory):

• Certificate III / Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
• Diploma of Hospitality Management
