About The Role Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer, you will provide vital engineering, technical, and quality support to drive the successful delivery of this yard extension. You will balance technical, operational, and commercial responsibilities to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is vital for maintaining performance, fulfilling work commitments, and advancing project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 Years engineering experience in the rail industry
• Tier 1 / Tier 2 Background: Proven track record delivering major infrastructure projects within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 principal contractor environment
• Rail Infrastructure Expertise: Extensive experience in the delivery of complex rail projects, with a strong understanding of rail construction methodologies and staging
• MTM Proficiency: Demonstrated working knowledge of Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) Engineering Standards, Policies, and Safety Management Systems (SMS)
• Project planning / management skills
• Experienced and able to prepare and analyse tenders and estimates
• Demonstrated ability in proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities
• Ability to lead and inspire teams
• Well-developed conceptual, analytical and planning skills
