Receptionist

Ballarat Grammar is one of regional Australia’s leading co-educational schools with a proud history dating back to 1877 and a flourishing community of over 1,900 students from 6 months to Year 12, including around 260 boarders.

• Full-time (during School Term periods), ongoing position
• Hours of Work - 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
• Term time salary approximately $60,000 per annum, plus superannuation, dependent on skills and experience
• To commence October 2026

We are seeking applications from passionate and customer focused administration specialists for the position of Receptionist within our Founders Wing.  The position will provide superior reception support to staff, visitors, students and their families. The role will also provide administration support to the Head of Boarding.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrated experience within a customer service environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, staff, visitors and external stakeholders. 
• Highly developed customer service skills, with a professional, welcoming and solutions-focused approach. 
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and remain calm and effective in a busy and dynamic environment.
