We’re looking for a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our South Melbourne store on a casual basis, working weekday shifts that are available between Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive customer experience while helping the store run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and delivering outstanding service
• Building product knowledge and helping customers find the right solution
• Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
• Answering customer enquiries via phone and email
• Preparing quotes and processing orders
• Maintaining store presentation and merchandising displays
• Receiving and replenishing stock deliveries
• Assisting with inventory and database updates
• Supporting day-to-day store operations

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for customer service. You’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally retail
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence using POS systems or inventory management systems
• A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Hospitality, kitchen equipment or technical product knowledge is advantageous but not essential
