Hotel Service Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will co-ordinate and oversee the running of the hotel in the afternoon/night, with particular emphasis on managing all night operations of the hotel, including hotel security and the auditing process.

Task & responsibilitiesTask & Responsibilities

Some key responsibilities of this role are:

• Completing daily auditing and accounting tasks, including reconciling guest accounts, balance or revenue and payments and preparing financial reports
• Ensure the safety and security of our guests and team
• Liaise with other departments, providing systematic communication to ensure exceptional guest experiences
• Reception & Reservations duties, including check-in and check-out
• Anticipate and exceed guest needs as they occur through your shift
• Responding to all guest comments and complains with professionalism, tact, diplomacy, urgency and a genuine sense of always caring, and communicating to Operations Manager
• On call from completion of shift to 8am, while Accommodation is provided.
• This is a FULL TIME SALARY Position

Qualification & experienceQualification & Experience

• Diploma or higher level qualifications and Minimum 1 Year Hotel Management Experience / or equivalent
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including written and spoken English
• Competence in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work late/ overnight and being on call
• Previous experience with Opera PMS desirable

• Communication Skills: Effective communication with guests, staff, and management to ensure clear expectations and smooth operations. 
• Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, from cleanliness to service quality, to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction
