Qualified Mechanic

If you're a trade-qualified mechanic who enjoys working on quality farming, earthmoving and station equipment, and you're looking for a change of pace, this could be the role for you.

This full-time position is based on a mixed farming and cattle station outside of Katherine, Northern Territory.

You'll work on a good fleet of machinery, have your own tidy, functional workshop and become an important part of the operation. If you enjoy variety, problem solving and station life, we'd like to hear from you.

About the Role

Your day-to-day work will include servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of equipment, including:

• Toyota vehicles
• Tractors
• General farm machinery
• Earthmoving equipment
• Station equipment

This is a hands-on role where you'll be trusted to manage your own workload, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to a high standard.

While you'll work independently, you'll also be part of the wider station team and play an important role in keeping the operation running smoothly.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

• Is trade qualified as a mechanic
• Has experience working on Toyota vehicles, John Deere equipment or similar agricultural machinery (highly regarded)
• Has strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Is self-motivated and can work independently
• Has good communication skills
• Enjoys station life and working as part of a team
• Takes pride in their work and keeps a tidy workshop

• Trade qualification
• Current driver's licence
• Reliable vehicle
• Contactable work references relevant to the role
