About the role
BLW Marine Management Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Welder & Fabricators to join our team in our Murarrie, Queensland location. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the manufacture and repair of marine vessels and equipment.
What you'll be doing
Perform a range of welding and fabrication tasks to the highest quality standards
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate custom components
Operate various welding equipment and machinery to assemble and repair marine structures
Carry out routine maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and timely project delivery
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety policies
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Welder or Fabricator, ideally within the marine industry
Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication processes, including MIG, TIG and stick welding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Sound mechanical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Forklift licence and crane operation experience highly regarded
