Macs Engineering and Opposite Lock is a highly regarded light/medium engineering company and manufacturer of light vehicle tray bodies, third party equipment, accessories and services to the mining, energy, infrastructure and Government and private sectors.

We are looking for a Spray Painter to join our and Engineering team.

The people we are looking for:

• some experience preferred ( training will be provided )

• Qualification and/or relevant experience 

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Work with minimal supervision

• Reliable

Ideally, you will be someone who goes the extra mile, has a passion for what they do and above all prides themselves on their reliability, safety and quality of work.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and painting Ute trays, tool boxes and canopies.

• Using sanders, grinders, spray gun, pressure pot and Sikaflex.

• Mixing and apply base and 2 pak paints.

• Maintain a safe and organised workshop.

• Collaborate with other team members to deliver excellent customer service
