About the role
This is a dynamic, permanent part-time role. You will bridge the gap between back-of-house prep and front-of-house service. You will work Tuesday to Saturday, 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, with a guaranteed 20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
Assisting with basic kitchen prep and plating
Running food
Taking orders
Managing guest experiences during peak dinner service
Candidate who can lead the cooking role will attract higher hourly rate.
About you
NSW Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) Certificate: Must hold a current NSW FSS certificate, OR be willing to obtain one upon commencement
Valid NSW RSA Competency Card
Valid Australian working rights
Fluent English to confidently explain our unique menu and strict dietary concept
A positive, hygienic, and team-focused attitude

Yeah Dem Birds is an exciting, modern Japanese izakaya launching in Neutral Bay. We specialise in elevated avian dining, celebrating premium chicken, duck, and emu. We operate a highly clinical, allergen-safe kitchen—completely free from Gluten, Dairy, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Eggs, Sesame, Crustaceans, Molluscs, Lupin, and Mammalian products.

Guaranteed 20 hours per week
$27.08/hr (Weekdays) and $33.85/hr (Saturdays), plus 12% Superannuation, Annual Leave, and Sick Leave
FSS Course Reimbursement: 100% of course fees reimbursed upon completing your 3-month probation
