Master Builders ACT is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Policy Officer/Analyst (Graduate/Early Career) to join our Workplace Relations & Policy team in a part-time role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in public policy, advocacy, workplace relations and government engagement while supporting the peak body representing the ACT building and construction industry.

Working closely with senior industry leaders, you will contribute to research projects, policy development, government submissions and industry advocacy initiatives that influence decision-making across the ACT and nationally.

About the Role

You will:

• Conduct research and analyse industry issues.
• Assist with policy papers, submissions and briefing materials.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments.
• Engage with industry stakeholders and government agencies.
• Support advocacy and member engagement activities.
• Provide employment and workplace relations support.

About You

You will have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification or be nearing completion of your studies.
• Excellent writing, research and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
• An interest in public policy, workplace relations, economics, law or government.
• A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
