Your roleIn this role, you will strengthen best practice philanthropic engagement and private sector investment through the strategic stewardship of donor and foundation relationships through the Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) while ensuring robust governance, compliance, due diligence and risk management practices that support Creative Australia's public accountability obligations.
What you’ll be doing
Leading the identification, assessment and management of reputational, regulatory and stakeholder risks associated with private sector engagement activities in relation to the ACF and escalate matters requiring additional governance oversight appropriately.Identifying, building and maintaining strategic relationships with philanthropists, foundations, PAFs, wealth advisers, trustees and other private sector stakeholders to strengthen philanthropic participation and private investment through the ACF.Providing strategic oversight of donor engagement, major giving initiatives and fundraising activities associated with the ACF.Providing expert support and guidance to donors, trusts, foundations and philanthropic advisers engaging with the ACF.Supporting Creative Australia's compliance obligations relating to fundraising, taxation and operation of the ACF.Coordinating reporting, audit and assurance activities and providing evidence-based advice on private sector engagement performance, risks and emerging opportunities.Coordinating philanthropic recognition, stewardship and communications activities that acknowledge and celebrate the impact of private support.Leading the development and delivery of structured giving initiatives, philanthropic innovation projects and new private investment models.Developing resources, networks and engagement activities that increase understanding of arts philanthropy and encourage participation by philanthropic advisers, trustees and donors.
