Make every day different by joining our Integrated Medicine, Emergency, Child and Youth Services. We have a current vacancy as an Administration Officer Ward POLO. In this role you will be required to coordinate the administration support to a multi dynamic role which is integral in the organisation and management of appropriate information systems. This position will provide efficient and confidential administration support to the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal delivery of clinical services for General Medical Unit.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will….

• Conduct patient interviews to obtain correct details for completion of admission to ward and verify or complete Patient Election Forms (PEF's) and other relevant paperwork to ensure accurate capture of funding sources.
• Manage, oversee and audit regularly to ensure patients are meeting categorisation guidelines. Maintain data integrity and patient information to maximise funding and revenue opportunities.
• Contribute to patient flow efficiencies on the wards and throughout the hospital by liaising with a range of staff to coordinate appointments, resources and movements on behalf of patients.
• Provide general administrative support as required which may include stationery, photocopying, laminating, binding as required.
