Vending Machine Operator

As a Field Service Technician, you will take ownership of a fleet of ME Group machines in your territory.

Your goal is simple: keep your machines running, available, clean and performing at their best.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring, servicing and repairing machines

• Diagnosing faults and replacing defective parts

• Reducing breakdowns, downtime and machines in alert status

• Replenishing consumables and cleaning equipment

• Performing preventive maintenance and quality checks

• Following scheduled machine visits and responding to technical issues

• Installing, removing or relocating machines when required

• Managing spare parts, stock and your local storage area

• Maintaining signage and information on machines

• Communicating technical and commercial information to your Team Leader

• Supporting maintenance contract renewals

• Handling cash collections/deposits in accordance with company procedures

• Taking care of your company vehicle, tools, phone and other equipment

Technical, electrical, mechanical or field-service experience is an advantage, but attitude and work ethic matter most.

Going from 300 to 5,000 machines in Australia means building a much larger operations team.
