Boilermaker / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson

Extreme Excavators and Steelarc Engineering are coming together to form EXS Services, combining the strengths of both businesses as our team continues to grow.

We are looking for a qualified Boilermaker / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our Boundary Road workshop in Mackay.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being a bit of an all-rounder rather than doing the same type of work every day.

You’ll be involved in a range of workshop work including:

• Light to Medium equipment repairs

• General boilermaker and fabrication work

• Stainless steel and aluminium TIG welding

• Basic mechanical/fitter work

• General repairs

• Assisting at our Steelarc Engineering workshop when required

We’re looking for someone with:

• A relevant trade qualification

• Strong fabrication and repair skills

• Experience with stainless steel and aluminium TIG welding

• Good mechanical aptitude

• Experience around heavy equipment or machinery is a bonus

• A willingness to learn and take on different types of work

• Current Australian Driver Licence

• Current High Risk Work License- Forklift Truck

• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

You don’t need to be an expert in everything — we’re looking for someone with solid trade skills, a practical mindset and the willingness to turn their hand to different jobs.

• Permanent Mackay-based position

• Monday to Friday or 9-day fortnight with every second Friday off
