Public Area Attendant

  Purpose As a Public Area Attendant, you are a valuable member of our Housekeeping team, responsible for keeping our shared spaces exceptionally clean and focusing on the little things. You will feel at ease working both independently and alongside your team members and enjoy engaging with guests, helping them with any questions or requests they may have.   Primary Responsibilities Ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out Embrace the cleaning challenge, sprucing up both indoor and outdoor public areas (including pool, gym and shared bathrooms) to meet our high cleanliness and presentation standards Expertly handle specialised equipment and chemicals with safety in mind Offering help to guests with inquiries and security matters, and collaborating with different departments to accomplish tasks Be the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly, from maintenance problems, to damaged equipment and missing items   Skills and Experience Previous experience in a similar role (as a cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus Your communication style is warm and welcoming, making both guests and team members feel at ease You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas You enjoy collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
