About the role
The Role
The Exhibitions Section has responsibility for the development and management of the Memorial’s galleries and touring exhibitions program. This includes the planning and delivery of permanent, temporary and touring exhibitions and the implementation of an extensive gallery maintenance program and integration during the current Development Project.
The Exhibitions Officer will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of exhibition and AV specialists focused on the management, development, production, implementation and maintenance of all aspects of the exhibitions and gallery program in cooperation with other sections. The position requires experience in the delivery of interpretative exhibition design projects within the museum or art gallery sector; an understanding of contemporary museum practice; and the ability work collaboratively across multiple projects simultaneously.
This position will initially be filled up to September 2028, with the possibility for permanency.
