Dermal Clinician

About the role

As a Dermal Clinician at Melbourne Skin, you will be responsible for providing personalised skin consultations, treatment plans and corrective treatments tailored to each client's individual skin concerns and goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive skin consultations and assessments
• Creating personalised treatment plans and home-care recommendations
• Performing advanced corrective treatments
• Providing chemical peels, skin needling, LED, microdermabrasion and other advanced skin treatments
• Working with medical-grade and professional skincare
• Educating clients on their skin and treatment journey
• Maintaining detailed client records and treatment notes
• Providing an exceptional client experience from consultation through to treatment and follow-up
• Working collaboratively with our clinical and front-of-house team
• Contributing to a positive, professional and results-driven clinic culture

About you

• Holds a Bachelor of Dermal Science or equivalent
• Has previous experience working within a professional skin clinic
• Is confident performing advanced skin treatments
• Has a strong understanding of skin anatomy, conditions and corrective treatments
• Is passionate about skin health and achieving genuine client results
• Has excellent communication and consultation skills
• Is confident recommending professional skincare and treatment plans
• Takes pride in their presentation, professionalism and attention to detail
• Is reliable, motivated and eager to continue developing their skills
• Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
