As the Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will:
Develop BSPs and ICSPs in conjunction with the child or young person, their care teams and other stakeholders and delivering training in the implementation of the BSP and ICSPs
Ensure BSPs meet compliance requirements
Provide advice to stakeholders in relation to specialist services and referrals to support the child or young person
Develop & review tools and processes required relevant to role (e.g. BSP plans, evaluation processes, behaviour support policies, data collation, etc)
Provide training to teams in relation to understanding Trauma, implementing BSPs/ICSPs, TCI and the CARE model.
Attend Team Meetings where required to provide support in the implementation of BSPs and provide training, advice, or instruction in relation to behavioural support
About you:
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, or relevant field.
Registered with NDIS as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Minimum 2 years’ experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) to support children and young people in OOHC
Demonstrated high-level written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability and willingness to undertake travel as required
Clear and Current National Criminal History Check.
Working With Children Check clearance.
