Tour Guide/Driver

About the role

We are looking for energetic and entertaining personalities to join our team of tour guides in presenting small private group sightseeing tours from Perth. The job involves long days and requires the ability to work any day of the week as our tours operate 363 days of the year including public holidays. This is perfect for someone looking for 1, 2 or 3-4 days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide informative and interesting commentary

• Attend to and anticipate guests needs

• Pick up and drop off guests at their locations

• Maintain professionalism throughout the tour

• Be of pleasant manner, respect others and relate well to people of all ages

• Present neatly

• Provide fantastic customer service to all customers of varying nationalities

About you

• Previous guide experience is essential

• Great people skills and strive for excellent customer service

• Flair for entertaining and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds

• Sound and solid driving history

• Even temperament and common sense

• Have confidence in their capabilities

• Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry

• Previous experience in dealing with groups and crowd control

• Must hold a minimum Light Rigid (LR) licence

• Must have a Passenger Transport (PT) endorsement

• Must have a valid National Police Clearance certificate

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening

• Unrestricted right to live and work in Australia

• Currently residing in Perth

• Australian Citizen

• Extremely reliable

• Willing to learn and experience new things
