Rubbish Attendant - Mundubbera Waste Facility

Proterra Group is looking for a Rubbish Pick Up Attendant at our Mundubbera Waste Facility.

This is a casual role where some flexibility is available for the right applicant. The shifts are typically 4 hours long and would suit a school parent.

Established in regional Queensland in 2008, Proterra Group is proud of our history supporting and strengthening communities across regional Australia. Proterra Group currently manages 12 waste facilities throughout regional Queensland.

This position is responsible for performing rubbish pick up relating to the maintenance of the Munduberra Waste Facility, whilst complying with the Environmental and Operational Management Plans and Department of Water and Environment Regulation licence requirements, all while ensuring a safe workplace at all times. This position may also provide coverage at the Landfill site office as required.

This position requires a candidate who can:

• This role involves continuous physical activity, including bending, stooping, reaching, and picking up litter and debris for extended periods. Applicants must be fit and capable of performing these duties throughout a shift.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of initiatives and services provided by the role and team to ensure effective, efficient, and safe delivery of objectives and maximise use of resources.

This position also requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check), current WH&S Construction Induction Certificate (White) and current Manual Driver’s License.

Any other site-specific training will be organised for you by Proterra Group.
