Management Accountant

Located in Warabrook, HPC is seeking a full-time Management Accountant who will partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate the monthly rolling forecast process and support operational decision making through comprehensive management reports and strategic insights.
 
As the Management Accountant, you will produce timely and accurate financial and management accounts and reports in accordance with internal policies and procedures and Australian accounting standards.

DUTIES
- Assist Financial Controller with all financial matters relating to Hunter Primary Care.
- Business Partnering – be a first point of contact with designated business units and build in-depth knowledge in respect to business unit objectives
- Develop financial models to assist with forecasting and developing new service offering.
- Create reporting systems that offer unique insight and enable key stakeholders to make good business decisions.
- Ensure compliance and reporting with funding contracts Assist with annual and periodic audit requirements
- Maintain an overview of current and future trends and liaise with internal stakeholders to inform planning activities, tenders, and business development initiatives.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree or equivalent in commerce or accounting and a minimum of 5 years related experience
- Member of professional accounting body (CPA or CA) 
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other tier 1 or 2 ERP system
- Experience in financial modelling and application in the not for profit or health sector.
- Demonstrated experience in business case scenario analysis and development of tender costing models.
- Confident in working closely with relevant stakeholders. 
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work autonomously with limited guidance
- Advanced Excel skills and experience developing complex models and data analysis. Competence and experience in other Microsoft Office Products including Word and Outlook
