Telecommunications Rigging Supervisor

With a strong reputation for quality, safety, and innovation, FEC continues to support major telecommunications projects nationwide. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Telecommunications Rigging Supervisor to join our Western Australian operations.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead and supervise telecommunications rigging crews delivering installation, upgrade, integration, and maintenance projects across mobile and telecommunications networks.

This hands-on leadership role is suited to an experienced professional who is passionate about safety, team development, and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise telecommunications rigging teams across multiple project sites.

• Coordinate daily site activities, resources, and project deliverables.

• Lead tower construction, upgrades, co-locations, and maintenance works.

• Ensure compliance with all WHS requirements, company procedures, and client standards.

• Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting to management.

• Manage subcontractors and maintain strong client relationships.

• Ensure quality assurance processes and project documentation are completed accurately.

• Mentor and develop team members to support a high-performance culture.

About You

Essential Requirements

• Proven telecommunications rigging experience.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

• Current Intermediate or Advanced Rigging Licence.

• Working at Heights certification.

• Tower Rescue certification.

• White Card.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and installation standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Desirable

• RF Awareness certification.

• First Aid and CPR certification.

• Experience working on Telstra, Optus, TPG, NBN or other carrier networks.

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.

• Dogging Licence.

• Experience in greenfield and brownfield telecommunications projects.
