Excavator Operator

About the Role

HEH Civil is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our FNQ operations. You’ll operate excavators across civil infrastructure projects. Experience operating other plant is highly desirable, and you’ll work alongside a supportive team that values safety, precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for trenching, bulk earthworks, detailed excavation and final trim works
• Work around existing services, levels and site constraints with care
• Operate other plant where experienced and ticketed, including compactors, loaders, trucks and other civil plant
• Support pipe crews and general civil construction works as required
• Complete daily pre-start checks, routine maintenance checks and report any faults or hazards
• Follow site plans, levels and supervisor instructions
• Work collaboratively to meet project targets and deadlines

Requirements

• Construction White Card
• GPS/laser system experience
• Experience operating other plant is highly desirable
• HR licence is highly desirable
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
• Current driver licence and reliable transport
