A prominent Australian FMCG and supply chain leader is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to serve as a key enterprise partner to the CEO. Managing a sophisticated national distribution network and high volume import pipeline, the business is entering a pivotal phase of commercial expansion and structural scaling.
 
This role requires a commercially sharp finance leader to drive overall financial performance, corporate governance, and multi entity capital optimisation.
 
Primary Objectives

• Executive Partnering: Collaborate directly with Executives on business expansion strategy, dynamic commercial forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Balance Sheet & Capital Management: Guide capital allocation, debt facilities, and overall liquidity across a high turnover inventory portfolio.
• Financial Stewardship: Ensure robust financial controls, tax compliance, and multi entity corporate governance across all operating divisions.
• Operational Performance: Deliver commercial insights, COGS optimisations, and margin enhancement strategies to maximise enterprise value.
• Team Transformation: Lead and mentor an established finance division while overseeing ongoing system automations and workflow efficiencies.

Selection Criteria

• Credentials: Fully qualified CA or CPA (GAICD or relevant Master's degree highly regarded).
• Background: Proven executive leadership (CFO / VP Finance) within complex FMCG, large scale supply chain, or national distribution sectors.
• Commercial Expertise: Background managing significant debt syndicates, multi entity corporate structures, and dynamic working capital models.
• Leadership Persona: Strategic, decisive, and resilient leader comfortable navigating fast paced, privately held growth environments.
