Refrigeration Technician

TRACKS Integrated Services is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join their team for an initial 3-month assignment in the Northern Territory.
 
This is a BIBO (Bus In/Bus Out) opportunity from Darwin, with multiple roster options available.
 
About the opportunity
You'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, working as part of an experienced team with a strong focus on safety and quality.
 
Roster options
All roster options are based on 12-hour shifts:

• Monday to Friday - with Monday and Friday public holidays off
• 7 days on / 7 days off
• 14 days on / 7 days off

What you'll be doing
You'll carry out servicing, repairs and replacement of equipment including:

• Servicing, repairing and replacing RAC units from 2.7kW to 6kW
• Servicing split systems from 2.5kW to 14kW
• Working on building package air conditioners from 45kW to 113kW
• Servicing ice machines, water coolers and chillers
• Servicing air dryers
• Finding and fixing mechanical and electrical faults
• Following site safety procedures
• Keeping accurate service records
• Working well with the wider team

What you'll need

• Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Current RAC01 Refrigerant Handling Licence
• CPR and Low Voltage Rescue completed within the last 12 months
• Current and valid driver's licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
