BT Equipment Pty Ltd T/as 600 Cranes Australasia (a 100% owned entity of Tutt Bryant Group Limited) is a leading specialist in truck mounted loading cranes Australia-wide. We offer a comprehensive service for all truck, static and marine cranes throughout Australia and the Pacific Islands. Beyond sales, we offer innovative mounting and installation solutions, servicing, spare parts, repairs and inspections both in-house and in remote locations.

Our key operation centres are strategically located in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane, with accredited agents around Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter - Welder to join the team in our Knoxfield team on a full-time basis.

The skills and experience required for this role are:

• Must have successfully completed an AQF Qualification either a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or formal training that is comparable

• Must possess skills that are current to Australian industry standards demonstrated by 2 years full time employment or equivalent part-time in the occupation

• studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings

• fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling and welding metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment

• diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment

• Sound ability to liaise with customers in a professional and pragmatic manner; and

• In possession of a full drivers licence.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer for this full-time position with a base salary of $100,000 – $110,000 per year (depending on the level of experience) and other company-provided items and benefits.
