Enterprise Integration (ESB) Technical Lead

About The Role
Kinetic IT is seeking an Enterprise Integration (ESB) Technical Lead to provide operational leadership and hands on technical oversight across a complex enterprise integration landscape. Working within a high performing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability and continuous improvement of integration platforms that underpin critical business and operational services.
This role combines technical leadership with service ownership, coordinating day to day operations, driving incident and problem resolution, supporting project transitions into production, and mentoring team members to strengthen capability across the Integration BAU function.

Responsibilities will include:

• Lead day to day BAU operations across the Integration Services team.
• Manage priorities, technical escalations and service delivery.
• Drive incident, problem, change and release management activities.
• Support project to production transitions and operational readiness.
• Maintain support documentation, runbooks and operational processes.
• Mentor team members and build capability across the team.
• Identify and implement service improvements to enhance performance and stability.
• Provide hands on technical leadership and BAU escalation support.

What you’ll bring to the able:

• Proven experience supporting enterprise integration, middleware and API platforms in complex production environments, including technologies such as MuleSoft, Kafka, Axway API Gateway, TIBCO, Java, REST APIs, Azure and AWS, with strong production support expertise.
• Strong incident, problem, change and release management capability.
• Proven experience leading operational teams and managing technical escalations.
• Experience transitioning integrations from project delivery into BAU support.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and team mentoring skills.
• Ability to develop support documentation, runbooks and knowledge-sharing practices.
• Skilled in working across both operational support and project delivery environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Hands on technical expertise with the ability to provide operational leadership.
