About the Role

As a valued member of the Westralia Car Care team, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to manufacturer specifications. Your duties will include:

• Performing routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

• Conducting mechanical diagnostics and repairs.

• Performing electrical diagnostics and repairs.

• Identifying maintenance and repair requirements through vehicle inspections and safety checks.

• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment and software.

• Repairing and maintaining engine, cooling, braking, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems.

• Maintaining accurate job records and documentation.

• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).

• Minimum 3 years experience as a qualified Automotive Technician.

• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.

• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• Working rights in Australia.

Desirable Qualifications

• Full working rights in Australia.

• Air-conditioning certification.

• Advanced diagnostic experience.
