KU Darling Nest is a state-of-the-art service located in The Exchange building on Little Pier Street in Haymarket. The service operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 6:00pm, and is easily accessible by public transport. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Metro Station, Town Hall or Central Station, or a 4 minute walk from the Paddy’s Markets Light Rail stop.

This stunning KU service is fully air-conditioned and operates across two levels, with two preschool rooms, one toddler room and three nursery rooms. Each level has a spacious, covered playground with natural and recycled materials, reflecting the service’s focus on sustainability.

The Role

We have Certificate III Qualified Educator opportunities available within this friendly and high-performing team, with permanent full-time and part-time options available. If you join us in a full-time capacity, you will also have the opportunity to accrue a paid rostered day off each month. Please let us know your preferred working arrangement in your application.

These opportunities are best suited to Certificate III Qualified Educators. Educators with higher qualifications are also welcome to apply; however, please note that the duties and remuneration for these roles will align with the Certificate III Educator classification.

Of course, you will need:

• Australian working rights
• A current NSW Working with Children Check

• An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification

• Completed training in Child Protection
• Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)

• Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
