Store Person

SIMCO is a Mackay based company that specializes in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of Dragline Buckets, Ground Engaging Tools (G.E.T), Dragline Rigging, Dipper Buckets, Excavator Buckets and Cast Lip Systems that are sold and supported to mining customers around the globe.

Due to our continued growth domestically and overseas we are seeking the services of a highly motivated and experienced Store Person to join our Team. The role is full time reporting to the Inventory Purchasing Manager and based in our Mackay Queensland Head Office

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading Goods from Freight Companies

• Accurate Picking and Packing Goods

• Securely Package Goods for Safe Transportation.

• Inventory Control and Stocktakes

• Cleaning and Maintenance of Warehouse

• Commitment to Operating Safely

• Local Delivery Drop Offs and Pick ups

Key Criteria:

• Current Forklift License

• Current Manual Drivers License 

• Safety Focused

• Flexibility to work the hours required to meet the needs of the business

• Computer Literacy with MS Office Suite

• Excellent communication skills –verbal and written

• Good Mechanical Attitude

• Organized and self-motivated with effective time management skills

• Adaptability to maintain work output during times of pressure and deadlines

• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative

• Working as a member of an enthusiastic and passionate team
