Business Improvement Coordinator

We’re looking for a proactive and analytical Business Improvement Coordinator to help shape the future of our operation through continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and collaborating with people across all levels of the business to deliver measurable results.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with operational and support teams to identify opportunities, coordinate improvement initiatives, and embed sustainable business practices that enhance safety, productivity, and cost performance. You’ll play a key role in driving positive change, influencing outcomes, and building a culture of continuous improvement across site.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the site’s business improvement program and project pipeline, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve targeted outcomes.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve performance.
• Support the development and implementation of standardised processes and monitor performance against key operational metrics.
• Partner with operational and finance teams to quantify, validate, and track productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop and maintain visual management tools, reports, and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting platforms.
• Coach and support leaders and frontline teams in continuous improvement methodologies, helping build capability and engagement across site.
• Facilitate workshops, root-cause investigations, and improvement activities to drive practical, sustainable outcomes.

About You

• You are an improvement-focused professional with mining industry experience and a passion for driving operational performance through data, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in mining operations, business improvement, or a similar site-based role.
• Qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using Power BI, Excel, or similar reporting tools.
• Understanding of operational KPIs, productivity drivers, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to coordinate projects and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, results-driven approach.
