Automotive Technician/Accessory Fitter

About the role

We're seeking a Qualified Auto Mechanic with hands-on experience and expertise in vehicle diagnostics and servicing of mechanical components of modified 4WDs. You will conduct servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and installation of suspension, wheel alignments, removal of drive shafts, diffs, and accessories. The candidate will be a self starter and conscious of their own time management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct servicing and repairs on most makes and models, with a focus on the Nissan Patrol Y62

• Perform transmission servicing and thorough inspections to identify vehicle issues

• Install and fit a range of 4WD accessories, including suspensions, brakes, exhausts, long-range tanks, and more

• Diagnose vehicle issues with accuracy and efficiency

• Test drive vehicles to ensure service quality and identify any additional needs

About you

• Minimum Certificate 3 Automotive - Light Vehicle

• Own hand tools (specialty tools will be supplied)

• Minimum 5 years working in the industry as a mechanic (Including Apprenticeship)

• Knowledge of automotive electrical a big plus

• A "can do" attitude
