About the role
The Better Futures Support Worker aids young people aged 15 years and 9 months to 21 years who are transitioning from Out of Home Care (OOHC) or Kinship Care, or need post-care support.
MASP is a not-for-profit organisation located in Mildura, Victoria and is seeking to fill a full-time ongoing position.
The Better Futures program aids young people aged 15 years and 9 months to 21 years who are transitioning from Out of Home Care (OOHC) or Kinship Care, or need post-care support.
The program offers brokerage, secondary consultation, and post-care support. Better Futures support workers help with accommodation, education, training, employment, life skills, and community or cultural connections.
Support levels vary based on each person's circumstances and care status.
Expected commencing salary of $82,415.00 per annum plus statutory superannuation. Because MASP is a non-profit organisation, you also have the option to maximise your income through salary packaging.

This role can involve emotionally demanding situations and exposure to psychological hazards, including client distress, trauma disclosures, and urgent responses. MASP prioritises staff wellbeing by providing supervision, debriefing, reflective practice, safety measures, and access to wellbeing resources. We encourage open communication—raise any concerns with your supervisor, management, or the OHS Committee as soon as possible.
