Southern Steel Supplies is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our experienced team at our Murray Bridge branch.

As part of our internal sales team, you will deal with a broad range of industries, trade customers, and retail customers, providing exceptional service and building long-term customer relationships.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Handling telephone enquiries and providing product advice.

• Assisting customers face-to-face in our branch.

• Responding promptly and professionally to email enquiries.

• Preparing quotations and processing sales orders.

• Managing customer accounts and developing ongoing business relationships.

• Assisting with deliveries and customer service activities as required.

• Supporting warehouse and sales operations during busy periods.

This is a hands-on role that requires you to be physically fit and willing to step away from the desk to assist customers and support operational requirements when needed.

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience within the steel, building products, manufacturing, or related industries (highly regarded).

• Be well presented, professional, and an effective communicator.

• Demonstrate strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Have a proven commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and account management.

• Possess a genuine passion for sales and developing practical solutions for customers.

• Be self-motivated, organised, and capable of working both independently and within a team environment.

• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence for deliveries, customer visits.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
