Meter Technician (Subcontractor)

The Role:

ServiceStream is seeking to build on its already extensive metering team by engaging with A Grade Electricians on a major, long term metering contract across Tasmania. Come and join our expert meter technicians, if you are an electrical contractor we will train you to a Nationally recognised standard for you to perform metering work in Tasmania with a focus on Safety and Technical aspects of the role. 

 What you’ll do:

• Complete digital meter exchanges & installations

• Investigate and rectify meter communications faults

• Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate and timely installation records 

 What you need:

• Pty Ltd company and relevant insurances

• A Grade Electrical Licence and valid Driver’s Licence

• Tasmanian Contractor's Licence

• TasNetworks Authorisations

• Construction Industry Safety Induction Card (White Card)

• Current LVR & CPR qualification

• Current First Aid certificate

• Own tools of trade and suitable vehicle

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
