Trade Counter Manager

About the role

As our Trade Counter Manager, you'll help engineers, project managers, installers and other tradespeople access the products and advice they need to complete essential projects and installations. You'll deliver excellent customer service while supporting the day-to-day operation of the branch, including sales, quoting, order fulfilment and stock control.

Key responsibilities

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in person and over the phone
• Offering accurate product information and practical advice
• Preparing quotes and processing customer orders
• Picking and packing orders and assisting with stock control
• Maintaining professional, well-presented product displays
• Keeping the branch clean, organised and safe
• Making occasional customer deliveries using a company vehicle

About you

• Previous retail sales, trade counter or customer service experience
• Enjoy building relationships and helping customers find the right solution
• Can accurately pick and process orders and maintain stock displays
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Organised, dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Hold a current, unrestricted Australian driver licence with a good driving record
• Flexible and willing to work rostered shifts, including weekends where required
• Experience in hydronic heating and cooling, plumbing, HVAC or a related trade industry would be highly regarded, but it is not essential
